I believe in taking risks. // For this, I've found, is where we truly learn about ourselves, show ourselves a little more grace, and gain a bit more freedom. // Freedom from our fears, insecurities, and bad experiences that hold us back. It's not an easy task but taking small risks to start has shed light on three words in my life: potential. greatness. & love. // There is potential far beyond what we imagine in each of us. There is greatness not meant for our glory but for Christ's. There is deep love to behold for ourselves and our brothers and sisters around us. // ‪#‎riskadventure‬

Sometimes I'm happy and sometimes I'm sad,
everyday is different but it isn't so bad.

When I wake up, I know what kind of day it will be,
I just eat my chocolate muffin and sip some tea.

Because no matter if I feel tired, alive, or somewhere in between,
I'm learning to lean into Jesus, not live like a machine.

A lesson not so easily learned of course,
for you must examine the very source,

of every emotion, thought, and motivation of your action,
but the heart is not easily understood in the midst of distraction.

That pulls and prods and takes away from knowing,
that no matter what kind of day you're having, you're growing.

But if you are steadfast in the Lord and are present in His Word,
well then everyday can be grand because it's from Him that we've heard!
